Why is air compressor important in the semiconductor industry?
Air compressors can provide high-pressure gas to meet various needs in semiconductor manufacturing processes. During the use of the air compressor, attention should be paid to maintenance and upkeep to ensure its normal operation.
The air compressor is equipped with a cooling system, which is mainly used to reduce the operating temperature of the air compressor, so that the machine will not be damaged or fail due to overheating during normal operation. During the operation of the air compressor, a large amount of heat is generated, and if not cooled down in time, it will affect the service life of the machine. Therefore, the cooling system plays a crucial role in air compressors, and the equipment used for heat dissipation and cooling is mainly divided into two methods: water cooling and air cooling.
When the air compressor is working, the exhaust temperature is very high, and it needs to be cooled down through a cooling system. There are two main ways in which the cooling system of an air compressor works:
- Water cooled air compressor: Cooling water is pressurized by a water pump from the water tank and discharged into high-temperature components. High temperature components interact with cooling water through heat exchangers to achieve heat dissipation.
2. Air cooled air compressor: Cooling of the air compressor is achieved through forced ventilation and heat dissipation. Install the high-temperature components in front of the fan and use the fan to blow the hot air from the air compressor to dissipate heat, while allowing fresh air to enter the body.
